An interactive swordcraft prototype for developing skill based experiences

This project is an interactive sword play demo, allowing players to choose a full scale, physical (LARP safe), realistic looking sword for interactive skill based experiences.

The R&D approach has created a sword which is a case study of a modular, discrete, high accuracy, low latency, cost effective spatial tracking solution, and design and development pipeline for any motion captured interactive prop enabling the rapid design, development and fabrication of a wide range of interactive, immersive storytelling props and tools. The prototype demonstrates the physicality and skill of sword play in immersive contexts.
