Biography
A graduate of the Inis interactive media program in 2013, Mylène Augustin worked as an editor and web project manager before undertaking her training in production. From 2014 to 2020, she accumulated several delegated production mandates on a dozen short films at the documentary studio of the English program, then at the animation studio of the French program of the National Film Board of Canada. In a common desire to showcase new faces of auteur cinema, she is joining forces with Marie Ka to realize the vision of Inaru Films and support creators who take a fresh look at realities from here and elsewhere . Mylène is also a founding member of the Black on Black Films collective which aims to support the development of Afro-descendant artists and promote their access to the industry.
